One of Berlin's most popular tourist sites, the glass and steel dome and terrace of the Reichstag parliament building, was
closed indefinitely to most tourists on Monday as part of Germany's continued security crackdown, a parliamentary
spokeswoman, Birgit Landskron, said. The decision to close those parts of the building, which offer stunning views of Berlin and
attract thousands of visitors daily, was announced two days after the magazine Der Spiegel reported that Islamic radicals
were planning a commando-style attack on the building similar to the 2008 raids in Mumbai, India, which left 170 people
dead and 300 wounded. Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere criticized the report as ''irresponsible speculation.''
